LMS - LOAD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR EXCAVATORS
SAVE MONEY AND TIME WITH AN EXCAVATOR TO REPLACE CRANES
Have you ever wanted an excavator that can work in leu of a crane? Introducing, load management systems. Instead of only being able to lift to your SWL, it allows you to lift as much as the machine can handle then locks the machine out if within 25% of weight to tip machine. Basically, we have increased the lifting capacity of the excavator, which can in a lot of cases, replace the need for a franna or crane.
LMS FUNCTIONALITY
WebbairProlec’s PME200 Rated Capacity Controller/ Load Management System (RCC/LMS) is the most technologically sophisticated and compliant RCC/LMS to be introduced in Australia. When heavy machinery, such as excavators, are involved in lifting activities, the PME200 system increases the safety and efficiency.
The technique enables excavators to lift the maximum Safe Working Load (SWL) across the whole machine’s working envelope. This results in a situation where the machine can ‘legally’ lift up to 10 times its present SWL, making machines not only safer but also far more productive.
A 30 tonne excavator, for example, may be used to hoist pipes weighing 6-10 tonnes or freely suspend loads up to 17 tonne after lifting a PME200 system. When it comes to selecting a machine for lifting applications, this produces a very appealing and cost-effective option.
PME200 assists contractors in meeting their operational health and safety duties and complies with Australian Standards AS1418.8 and AS1418.5 for Rated Capacity Controller/Load Management System (RCC/LMS).
PME200 also complies with the standards for height limitation, cab protection (AS1418.8), and dig depth control, all of which help to preserve subsurface infrastructure while also saving time and money in digging applications.
