REINFORCED EARTH WALL MATERIALS
Inextensible High-Adherence (HA) steel reinforcing strips or ladders are attached to tie strips installed in precast concrete facing panels as soil reinforcements in the system. Metal strips and rods, geotextile strips and sheets and grids, and wire grids are examples of reinforcing materials. These materials are secured to the face unit and extended a short distance into the backfill.
If necessary, custom panel dimensions and thicknesses can be made to meet project requirements such as geometry, extreme wall height, or protective structures.
To enable proper drainage of the structure while limiting backfill loss, panel joints include a ship lap and geotextile on the back face. Complex horizontal alignments and increased differential settlement capacity are possible thanks to a portfolio of corner parts and slip joint coverings.
